Delegation Request Form

Applications to appear as a delegation before County Council must be received by the Clerk no later than 12:00 PM (noon) on the last business day of the week preceeding the meeting. Your application will be reviewed and you will be notified by the Clerk if your request has been approved. Please refer to Essex County Policy 95-004 - Delegations to County Council for all the conditions and procedures.  

Personal information collected on this form is authorized under the County of Essex Procedure By-law and will be used to contact individuals and/or organization requesting an opportunity to appear as a delegation before County Council. The name and address of the delegates or organizations will be published as part of the meeting agenda which is also posted on the County of Essex website.

Presentation Materials

Any additional documentation, presentation materials and/or audio-visual aids must be provided to the Clerk prior to the meeting date for review, approval and circulation to Council and Administration. Any materials that will be made public shall be compliant with AODA Legislation. 

Please Note

Presentation materials must be reviewed by the Clerk. Materials must be received by 4:00PM on the day prior to the meeting. 25 copies of any reviewed printed materials must be provided to the Clerk prior to the meeting for circulation. 

Should there be an issue reaching the primary contact, please provide an alternate person with whom the County may correspond regarding the delegation documents and presentation materials.
