Attendance at Essex County Council Meetings

Essex County Council meetings are open to the public. If you wish to speak at a Council meeting, you must register as a delegation. If you to decide to speak as a delegation, your name and address will be listed on the agenda and public minutes.

During meetings, all those in attendance shall conduct themselves  in a dignified manner, and shall maintain decorum and demonstrate respect for elected officials, administration, delegates and members of the public, when observing or participating in proceedings. Read more about our meeting guidelines.

This form is valid for a single registration for the Essex County Council meeting.

Notice of Collection

Personal information collected as a result of this delegation, is collected under the authority of the Municipal Act, the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA), the Planning Act, and all other relevant legislation, and will be used to assist in making a decision on this matter. All personal information (as defined by MFIPPA), including (but not limited to) names, addresses, opinions and comments collected will be made available for public disclosure to members of the public, at the meeting, through requests, and through the County of Essex website.
